AMKA Yoga and Meditation Project May 11, 2008

AMKA is a Swahili word, which has the double meaning of ‘wake up’, as an imperative to a situation that calls for critical attention as well as an encouraging request to ‘arise’ and be of benefit to oneself or others.

 

AMKA Yoga and Meditation Project was founded in order to provide a space where people can connect to the very center of their lives to find peace and healing through the magical portal of the present moment.

Kundalini Yoga Mantras February 10, 2008

Last Thursdays class was lovely and amazing. The students were open and the studio was a haven. Many of the students asked about the beautiful music that we practice Kundalini yoga to, music which uses the science of the naad or primal sound to affect the very center of the listener.
